Yoga Day
The International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and participation from the students and teachers. The programme was organised to create awareness about the importance of yoga and its role in maintaining physical fitness, mental well-being, concentration, and a healthy lifestyle. The programme began with a prayer by the students, seeking the blessings of the Almighty. This was followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolising knowledge, positivity, and the beginning of the celebration. The programme was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Mrs. Shridevi R. Amin a practising advocate in Mangaluru for the past 18 years. She is an exclusive practitioner in RERA, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), and Environmental Laws. She is also a trained international arbitrator, conciliator and mediator and has been appointed as a Notary Public by the Central Government of India. The Headmistress, Mrs. Laveena Albert graced the occasion with her presence. Mrs. Latha delivered the welcome speech and warmly welcomed the Chief Guest, Headmistress, teachers, and students. The importance of yoga and its benefits were highlighted during the programme. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Mrs. Kavitha who expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest, Headmistress, teachers, and students for their presence and support. The celebration was conducted successfully and served as a meaningful reminder that yoga is a practice that promotes harmony between the body, mind, and spirit.
